Barbara V. Wilburn

Barbara V. (Himes) Wilburn, 75, of Clay, passed away peacefully at the Francis House on Sunday March 26th. Barbara was born in Syracuse daughter of the late Harry and Marie (McCasland) Himes. She graduated from Onondaga Valley Academy in 1965 and married her high school sweetheart, Robert Wilburn in 1967. Barbara was a longtime employee of UPS. Barb was a wonderful mother and beloved grandmother, who always enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren, who will miss her dearly. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, computer games and playing "the slots" with her sister.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Wilburn, Sr.; siblings; Kathleen and John Himes; children, Robert Wilburn, Jr., Stacey (Todd) Jantsch, and Mary Wilburn; grandchildren, Kyle, Christian, Abagail, Victoria, Cooper and one great grandson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 30th from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Francis House.
