Barbara J. Vanalstine, 73 of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully, at Crouse Hospital, with her family by her side.
Barbara was born on August 31, 1947 to the late Francis and Arlita Burns.
She was a secretary for many years.
Barbara loved spending time with family. She was also a season ticket holder for The Syracuse Crunch and enjoyed casino trips with her daughter, Michelle.
She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Steve; children, Michelle (Dan) Corbett, Brett (Kay) LaFrance, Gregory (Lauren) Vanalstine, Stephen (Helen) Vanalstine and Michael Vanalstine; grandchildren, Kirstie, Kaylee and Alex; and great-grandchild, Leo.
She is predeceased by her grandson, Jake and siblings, George, Don and Carol.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association.
