Barbara Anne Ringwood Smith was born May 10, 1933 in Syracuse, NY to Joseph, and Geraldine (Hall) Ringwood.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and Sister Shirley Harris. She went to school in North Syracuse. She married Richard F Chatfield in 1950, and they had one child together, Richard F. Chatfield II. Richard F. Chatfield preceded her in death in 1952. She was married to Severino D. Spensieri in 1959, they had one son together, Mario M. M. Spensieri. She went to Beauty School, and worked at Don Spensieri's business, 4 U Barber Stylist in Arvada, CO. She moved to Arvada, CO in 1972 and returned to Syracuse in 1989. She later married Clarence McCoy, Richard Museums, and Ken Smith whom all preceded her in death. She was a woman who loved God, believed in prayer, and loved reading the Bible. Her passion was leading people to Christ, and she led many to him.

She is survived by Richard F Chatfield II, wife Holly, Mario M. M. Spensieri, Christy J. Gaines and husband Robert, Cameron R. Gaines, and Ryder A. Gaines; stepbrother Scott Chatfield and wife Kathy; niece Sharon Bixby and husband Ray; nephews Ken Harris and wife Linda, Scott Harris, and many other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her Shiloh Bible Church family including Pastor Amrit Din and wife Mercy Din, his wife; Joyce Goodwin and husband Bill, and Sandy Luckette; her former Pastor and his wife Al and Fran Luckette. Her church family loved her, and she loved them.

A funeral service will be held on Friday November 19, 2021 at the Shiloh Bible Church at 10am with a burial to follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shiloh Bible Church.
