Barbara S. Stiles, 63, of Clay, passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Center, TX, she was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Air Force. Barbara retired in 2004 from the VA Hospital, Syracuse.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Merrill; daughter, Sharon (Steven) Gibbs; son, W. Scott Stiles; mother, Eveline Bivens; 3 brothers, Wayne, James and Bruce Bivens; 3 grandchildren, Victoria, Samantha and Emily; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, 11AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in the Onondaga Co. Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Friends can visit with her family on Friday from 10-11AM, before services.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Cancer Society.
