Barbara H. Roberts

Barbara H. Roberts, 84, of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday surrounded by her family. She grew up in North Syracuse and attended Main Street School. Barbara married her high school sweetheart, Merritt Roberts in 1949. They were married for 68 years until his passing in 2017. Barbara was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed writing poems, singing and playing the organ. She was a God loving woman.

She is survived by seven children, Debbie Barker, William Roberts, Nancy Ketchum, Jackie Leonhardt, Belinda Brownell, Merritt Roberts and David Roberts; sixteen grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held Saturday 9-10am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 10am. Burial will take place in N. Syracuse Cemetery.
