Barbara M. (Pfendler) Laflamme

Barbara M. (Pfendler) LaFlamme was 86 when she passed on May 31, 2023. She was surrounded by family. She was born in Rome, NY and lived most of her life in the Syracuse area.

Barbara worked as an underwriter for CNA Insurance for many years and retired as a supervisor.
She enjoyed the outdoors, camping and traveling. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur A. LaFlamme in 2020; she is survived her children, Susan Laflamme-Rhodes (Derek), Arthur A. LaFlamme III (Cynthia) and Lori Schneider and Paul G. LaFlamme (Sherry); fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 6th from 1-3 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY, with a service to follow at 3pm.
