Barbara A. Kloczkowski, 82, of Cicero passed away Monday, April 3rd at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Utica to William and Marguerite Snyder Williamson, she graduated from Utica Free Academy high school. Barbara worked for General Millwork and M&L Electric for a number of years. She was a volunteer for the American Heart Assn. for over 12 years. She married her husband, Mathew in 1954 after meeting a few years earlier at the Yorkville Bowling Alley where he set pins. They had a busy life together traveling to different states for vacation, tending the many vegetable gardens they had over the years and even vacationing up in the 1000 Islands for several years on the river. Barbara was a dedicated wife, a loving Mother and a gentle soul. She and her husband and daughter moved to Cicero in 1983. She liked to read, watch NASCAR, fish and golf. Even though she was always a dog lover, she developed a strong bond with her grandcat, Indy.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Mathew; daughter, Linda; brother, Bill of Rhode Island; grandcats, Indy & Boo and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday, April 6th at 6-8 PM. The funeral is Friday, April 7th at 10AM. Both will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 No. Main St (Rt. 11), North Syracuse.
