Barbara Y. Jones, 81, of Manlius, died on January 17, 2021 from complications of Covid-19. She was born March 20, 1939 in Philadelphia. Barbara was a clinical social worker and retired from Onondaga County Children's Service in 1999. She supported numerous charities, enjoyed gardening, her cats and traveling to exotic locations. Her best-loved were the Galapagos Islands, Patagonia, China, Tibet and India. Her favorite city was Rome, Italy.
She is survived by her husband, Harold, whom she married on December 30, 1966 and her brother, Robert Stringer of Slidell, Louisiana.
