Barbara J. Bennett, 76, of Mattydale, passed away on Friday at Loretto Nursing Home.
She was born on December 27, 1938 daughter of Arthur and Doris Bennett.
She was last employed at Options for Independent Living. Barbara raised 6 children on her own, she was a very loving person who will be greatly missed by all.
She was predeceased by her son, Raymond Joseph Nies.
Surviving are her children; William Nies, Patricia Nies, Elizabeth Nies, Matthew Nies & Mary Ellen Hampton, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Linda Anderson, Gaynel Pyrtle.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
