Barbara Hammel, born on March 21st, 1951, passed away on March 11th, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Sidney & Hilda Hammel.
She is survived by her three daughters Jennifer (Chris) Keller (52), Jessica (James) Lardeo (46) and Patricia Milczarek (45), as well as her four grandchildren Joseph Lardeo (30), Peter Keller (28), Kaitlyn Lardeo (25), and Jessica Keller (23), and her ex-spouse Richard Sweezey. She loved her grand-puppies and grand-kitties, and was a lover of all animals. She also leaves behind her two sisters Beatrice (Ronald) Sica and Marilyn (Daniel) Mirabella and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Stephen Hammel.
She was the Beatles' #1 fan, loved her coffee and her comedy and true crime shows.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 10am-1pm.
