Barbara E. (Graveline) Recuparo, 85, of North Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at Loretto Nursing Home. She was born on September 17, 1928 in Norwood, NY, daughter of the late Edward and Gartha Graveline, Sr. On June 12, 1948 she married Vito Recuparo, Sr. He passed away on May 25, 2012. Barb worked for many years for the Syracuse City School District. She enjoyed camping and was a Derek Jeter Fan.
Surviving are 2 sons: Vito, Jr. (Deborah), Daniel (Shirley), daughter, Angelina (Richard) Perioli, 7 grandchildren: Vito, III, Rhonda, Anthony, Dominick, Nicholas, Ciji & Aura, 12 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Edward (Mary) Graveline, Jr. and Gilbert (Yvonne) Graveline.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.
