Barbara J. Dickson, 87, of Clay, passed away August 1, 2022.

Barbara was born in Pleasantville, New Jersey on February 24, 1935 to the late Thomas and Gertrude Addis. She worked at the North Syracuse School Cafe, Clay Post Office, Chappels, DV Southerden, and Sams Club. Barbara loved going on trips, bowling, playing cards and bunko. Most importantly she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard J. Dickson, Sr.; grandson, Donovan Furlong; great grandson, Noah Dickson. She is survived by her daughter, Debra A. (Donovan) Furlong; two sons, John T. (Joy) Dickson, Richard J. (Bernice Wilcox) Dickson Jr.; five grandchildren, John & Ashley Dickson, Mike & Beth Dickson, Jennifer & Josh Kane, Jillian & Joe Walsh, Alicia & George Wright; and 18 great grandchildren.

Calling hours are Friday from 4-7PM at New Comer, North Syracuse. A graveside service will take place Saturday, 10AM, at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
