Barbara A. Schwarz, 67, of Syracuse died Wednesday at home. Born in Syracuse and raised in Watertown, Barbara worked for New York Telephone and Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Albert, a daughter; Julie Husenitza of Phoenix, NY, a son; Mark of Syracuse, her mother; Lillian Netto, a sister Mary Fear, 3 grandchildren; Brandilyne Husenita, Cheslea Schwarz, Samantha Schwarz and she is predeceased by her grandson Jessie Husenita.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8:30 AM from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Syracuse. Burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Friday from 7-9 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse. Those wishing to make memorial contributions in Mrs. Schwarz's name may do the American Cancer Society.
