Barbara A. Kelly, of Cicero, passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital with her family by her side. Barbara was born in Baldwinsville the 12th of 12 children born to Glancy & Clara (Group) Voorhees.
She was an avid Yankees and SU fan. She loved spending time with her family. She was a kind and generous soul who loved life and believed strongly in helping others. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Survivors: John Kelly & Family; Daughters, Sharon Franza (Bill Southard) of Memphis and Melody LaFleur of Cicero; Brothers, Fred Voorhees (Sally Jackson) of San Juan Capistrano , CA, Robert Voorhees of Plainville; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services: At Barbara's request, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial, North Syracuse Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, New York.
