Barbara A. "Barb" Ackerman, 82, died on Thursday.
She was born on December 16, 1930 in Syracuse, daughter of Martin and Dorthea Stewart Burke. Barb was employed at one time for Syracuse International Airport in the Security Dept. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob Ackerman and her son, Josh Ackerman.
Surviving are 2 daughters; Breta (Craig) Brill, Heidi (James) Potrikus, son, Jess (Roberta) Ackerman, brother, Jim Burke, 2 sisters, Mary Blaydon, Joan Costello and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday 9:30 am at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
There are no calling hours.
