NORTH SYRACUSE- Audrey J. Shaffer, 83, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018, surrounded by the love of her family.
Audrey was born in Rockland, NY to the late Lloyd and Alice Edwards on March 17, 1935. She was a graduate of Roscoe High School, and Albany Business College. She then moved to Syracuse and began her career at General Electric. It was there she met the love of her life, William Shaffer. They were married for 49 years, and together raised two children. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and reading. Her passion in life was her family.
Audrey is predeceased by her beloved husband, William.
She is survived by her beloved children, Michael (Diane) Shaffer, of Manchester, NH, and Amy Lauricella, of Delmar, NY, her grandchildren, Katelyn, Matt, Erik, and Tim, her sister, Sandra McAdams, and a host of family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212, on Friday, October 19, 2018, from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
