Arthur J. Snow

Arthur J. Snow, 92 formerly of Syracuse, passed away on Friday with his loving family by his side. Arthur was born in Blackstone, MA the son of the late Walter and Lena Snow. Art served in the US Navy during WW II, in the North Atlantic and South Pacific. He worked many years at New Venture Gear retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Mattydale VFW and the American Legion in the Valley. Art worked on the Veterans Memorial Committee at the State Fair. He also served on the Onondaga County Veterans Committee. For many years he was the President of Local 624 UAW for retirees.

Arthur is survived by his children, Joseph (Mary) Snow, Karen Dubois, Kenneth Snow, 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St. from 2-4pm & from 7- 9 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday 10am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
