Arthur A. LaFlamme was 86 when he passed on November 26, 2020. He was at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Nashua, NH and lived most of his life in the Syracuse area.
Arthur served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean war as a radio operator, radio maintenance, electronics, FAA special training, crew check and ILS & tower efficiencies from 1951 until 1971. Following his retirement from the military he worked at Tektronics and Kennedy Electronics as a software programmer.
He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and backpacking. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and sharing a dry, relentless sense of humor that has been passed down to all who survive him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara (Pfendler) LaFlamme; children, Susan Laflamme-Rhodes (Derek), Arthur A. LaFlamme III (Cynthia), Lori Schneider and Paul G. LaFlamme (Sherry); fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
