Arthur J. Hopp, 62, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Syracuse, retired from Jamesville Correctional Facility and was a Vietnam veteran serving with the Marines.
He is survived by three step daughters, Jill Johnson, Becky (Kevin) Flegal, Tracy Decker; his mother, Elizabeth Hopp; a sister, Elizabeth (Dick) Koegel; a brother, Frederick Hopp; five grand-childen and one great grandchild.
Services will be Friday, 7PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Friends can visit with his family on Friday from 4-7PM.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Hospice of CNY.
