Arthur W. Dupra, 63, resident of North Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday surrounded by his family.
He graduated from Cicero High School. Arthur was a lifelong auto mechanic, starting his career alongside his father at the family Mobil Station in Cicero; later becoming proprietor of A & T Auto Repair which he operated for 25 years. He was a member of the Moose Club. He enjoyed building and driving race cars. There was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family, friends and pets. He also enjoyed time at his camp on the St. Lawrence River.
He was predeceased by his father, Willard Arthur Dupra.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Christine (Maczonis) Dupra and their daughter, Heather (Antonio) Caiati; children, Trista (Jeff) Rosen, Arthur M. (Lisa) Dupra, Chad (Marissa) Dupra and their mother, Tammy Humiston; eight grandchildren, Kameron, Holly, Lillian, Sofia, Dylan, Madelynn, Isabella, Stella; mother, Shirley (Mayville) Dupra; sisters, Marie (Tom) Tavernier, Wanda (Brad) Bliss, Mary (Rick) Cole; brothers, Willard (Tricia) Dupra, Stephen (Elizabeth) Dupra, Bryan (Yvette Ladd) Dupra and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 8th 9am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 12pm. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
