Memorial at Delavan Center
On Saturday, April 14 at 4:30 pm, friends are invited to celebrate the life of Arnold J. Davis, 81, of Liverpool, at the Delavan Center in Syracuse.
Arnold was born on June 19, 1930 in Brooklyn, son of Leamon and Helen Davis, Sr. He worked in commercial pattern design and industrial sewing/ fabrication for more than forty years—primarily in Syracuse, where he moved in the '70's as an executive at Castle Sporting Goods. From there, he went to work at Gladding Sporting Goods and later, to own and operate Oxford Manufacturing. A sports fan and avid bowler, Arnold was a member of the Strike-n-Spare League in Mattydale.
Arnold Davis died on February 16, 2012.
On behalf of the Davis family, his wife Carmen welcomes friends and colleagues to meet, reminisce, and bid Arnold farewell at the Gallery of the Delavan Center, 501 W. Fayette Street.
