Arnold W. Gilbo, 89, of North Syracuse, passed away December 14, 2017.
Arnold "Doc" was born in Potsdam, NY on June 8, 1928 to the late Lyle and Ruth Gilbo.
He was a Korean War and WWII veteran and radar systems engineer. Doc was an avid fisherman, hunter, dancer, singer and social butterfly. He was a gentle and caring person and will be greatly missed by his entire family.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dawn Gilbo; three Sons, Mark (Nicole) Gilbo, Thomas (Tracy) Gilbo, Michael Gilbo; daughter, Amie Dupra; three Grandsons, Justin Dupra, Presley Gilbo, Thomas Gilbo and two Granddaughters, Emily Gilbo and Nora Johnston.
Services will be private.
Memorial contributions in Arnold's honor can be made to the VA Medical Center.
