Arlita R. Burns, 81, of East Syracuse, passed away Thursday. Born in Syracuse, she was a member of the Minoa Fire Dept. Ladies Auxillary. She is predeceased by a daughter, Carol Nugent and a son, George Burns.
Arlita is survived by a son, Donald E.(Patricia) Burns; a daughter, Barbara (Stephen) VanAlstine; a sister, Hazel Pandozzi; daughter in law, Mona Burns; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, 4PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling Hours will be Saturday from 1-4PM, at the funeral home, before services.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society.
