Anthony John Seifert, 73, of Sandy Creek, passed away peacefully August 12, 2023. Anthony was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 8, 1949 to Matthew and Catherine Seifert.
During his childhood he enjoyed vacationing in Bennington, Vermont with his family in the home they later moved into. He thrived there forming many close friendships. Upon graduating from Mount Anthony high school, he made several epic trips across the United States and attended the San Francisco Art Institute.
Anthony loved teaching his daughter's about all aspects of life, including out-door skills such as canoeing, fishing, dirt bike riding, and out-door safety. Later he enjoyed passing this knowledge to his grandchildren.
Anthony was strong willed, clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through his life experiences: mechanic, firefighter, fisherman, motorcyclist, contractor- he could fix or build anything. He will be remembered for his enormous heart, generosity and selflessness. He truly loved his friends and family, each and everyone of them- and if you knew him, you knew that. He will be missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by father, Matthew Seifert; mother, Catherine Seifert; and brothers Matthew and Stephen.
He is survived by his wife Zhou Hong (Candy), two daughters, Lorna Grant (Seifert), Corinne Seifert, step-son Tianhang Hong (Hang) and older brother John Seifert
