Anthony P. Crisafulli died peacefully at his home on Sunday March 6th, 2016 after a short illness.

He was born in Oswego, NY on December 20th , 1947 to Anthony A. and Eloise (Nunn) Crisafulli. Tony was a very successful businessman. He was a State Farm Insurance Agent in business since 1971. He won numerous sales and service awards from State Farm during his decades of service. He brought many of his friends into the business and helped them to achieve successful careers. He and his loyal and long serving staff "Tony's Angels" (Cathy, Colleen, Linda, and Michelle) have served generations of families in the area thru the years.

Tony was a steadfast and true friend to many. His home was always open to anyone in need and he always looked out for his family and friends. His generosity knew no bounds and his heart was as big as the sky.

Tony had an all-encompassing need to care for his family. For his whole life as a husband, a father, and grandfather he was always there. From coaching little league for his sons, to family trips, being a helping hand, or a place to look to for good advice, he was always available whenever people needed him. For that he will always be remembered.

Tony was a great Yankees fan. He loved a round of golf or a fishing trip with friends or family, and he always enjoyed the 19th hole the most. His quick wit and ironic sense of humor gave us many fond memories. He will be missed dearly by his family and many close and dear friends.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Phyllis (Barozzini); his children, Mark (Tam) Crisafulli of Liverpool, Tom (Tina) Gilligan of Clay, Jonathan Smith (who he loved as a son) and Sara Gilligan of Westerville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Mariah Gilligan and Vanessa Crisafulli; two brothers, John and Paul (Lisa) Crisafulli; two sisters, Elizabeth Mack and Theresa (Ernst) Kratschmer; three nephews, KC and Ian Mack, and Adrian Crisafulli and four nieces, Christina and Stephanie Kratschmer, Emily and Angela Crisafulli.

Calling hours will be Thursday 4-7PM and Friday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will be held on Saturday 10AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations made to CNY SPCA or ST Jude Children's hospital.
