Anthony L. Pavia Sr., 87, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He is now with the love of his life, Lucy. Anthony was a longtime and former owner of Pavia's Midstate Market on N. Salina St. In his younger years he owned horses. He enjoyed competing and won many awards. He loved family camping, fishing, hunting, boating, skiing, motorcycling and bowling. He will be missed by his children and grandchildren.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Diane (George) Jordan, son, Anthony (Connie) Pavia, Jr., daughter, Karen (Fritz) Nightingale, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3 to 6pm at New Comer Funeral Home .
Services will be private at the funeral home.
Entombment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the SPCA.
