Anthony J. Leone, 93, of Liverpool, went to the Lord on July 16th. Originally from Mt. Vernon, NY, he was part of the "Greatest Generation". Anthony grew up during the Depression and served his country in the European Theatre during WWII. He participated in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a renowned model ocean liner ship builder and his model of the Titanic was cited in Life Magazine.
Anthony enjoyed all the area restaurants and the attention he received from the owners, staff and friends.
He is survived by his son, Anthony (Linda) Leone; granddaughter, Lisa (Michael) Casey; step-grandson, Christopher Besanson; great-grandchildren, Lindsay, MacKenzie, JonMichael, Delaney; nephew, Arthur (Sue) Martignetti and grandnephews, Scott, Brian, and Kevin.
