Deputy Anthony J. Gorgoni, 46, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday after a motorcycle accident. He was born in Virginia. He was employed with the Onondaga County Sherriff's Dept. Custody Division for 24 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and coaching LGSL.
He is predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Anthony Gorgoni and a brother, Perry Moore.
He is survived by daughters, Lea, Nikki, and Kayli; 2 grandsons; the mother of his children, Anna; sisters, Maryanne Zaccanelli, Rosemary (Phil) Previtire, Annette Gorgoni, Tina Stuper, and Bonnie Ewell; brother, Bob Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 3, 2014 3-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 7PM.
