Anthony J. 'Tony' Massenzio

Anthony J. Massenzio, 85, passed away on Thursday at Iroquois Nursing Home. He was born April 17, 1926 in Syracuse, a son of Bennie and Mary Belpulsi Massenzio. Tony served in the US Navy during WW II and retired from Allied Chemical in Solvay. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church and enjoyed the outdoors with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Frances, of 61 years, two daughters, Linda Massenzio, N. Syracuse, Patricia (Rich) Greene, Geneva, a son, Lee (Colleen) Massenzio, Syracuse, three grandchildren, Melissa (Tim) Boldt, Lindsey and Matthew Massenzio, two great grandchildren, Lukas and Clara Boldt, a sister Carmella Raulli along with a niece and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson Jeffery Greene and his Uncle Leo Massenzio.
Services will be held on Tuesday 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, N. Syracuse. Burial will take place in N. Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
