Anthony D. 'Tony' Leone, Sr., passed away on Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital with his family by his side. He was born May 4, 1930 in Syracuse a son of Natale and Angelina Gianotti (Leone). On March 5, 1995 he was married to Becky Bates in Phoenix, NY.
Surviving are his wife, Becky, son, Anthony 'Tony' (Patty), Jr., two daughters, Marie (Troy) Leonard, Nikki (Terry Morse) Bates, four grandchildren; Brittany and Stephanie Leone; Mark and Dominick Lauricella, one brother Frank Leone, two sisters, Mary Semak and Helen Dominski. Predeceased by a son Daniel J., brother, Salvatore and a sister Adeline Terranova.
Services will be held on Monday 10am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4pm at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital.
