Anthony Rocco Calogero

Anthony R. "Tony" Calogero, 92, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday December 12, 2022. Anthony was born in Syracuse on May 9, 1930 son of the late Anthony and Fanny Calogero. Anthony retired from Syracuse City Schools as a messenger driver who always had a joke to tell. Tony always enjoyed finding trinkets and treasures to make others happy. Anthony was predeceased by his wife Fanny of 53 years, two sons, Joseph & Michael Calogero, 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

He is survived by his daughter, Deb (Bruce) Daniels, 4 grandchildren; Toni Ann, Joey, Louis & Luke, 5 great grandchildren, his sisters, Connie Ostuni, Joy Constantine, Fanny Apps, Nancy Hart & Frances Burton.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held on Monday Dec. 19th at 9am at Epiphany Parrish at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery.
