Anthony J. Butera
January 23, 1959 — February 3, 2017
Anthony J. Butera, 58, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday after a long illness. Tony enjoyed coaching pop warner football for the Mattydale Vikings. He was an avid RC car and NASCAR enthusiast.
Tony was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Rosemary Butera.
He is survived by his son, Christopher (Jessica) Butera; sister, Tina Dischiave; brother, Corky (Jane) Butera; niece, Nicole (Richard) Gippetti and a nephew, Richard (Elise Billstein) Butera.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday 10AM in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CNYSPCA.
