Anthony "Tony" Baker, 68, of Syracuse passed away surrounded by family on November 28, 2022. He was born in Walsall, South England on May 25, 1954.

Tony worked for Syracuse Housing Authority and J&B Fuel Burning Equipment for well over 30 years. He was a very intelligent man, and an excellent mechanic. He was always there for anyone who needed it. He enjoyed boating, fishing and camping with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his dogs Chloe, Sophie and his Buddy.

He was predeceased by his Parents, John F. and Emily L. Baker.

Tony is survived by his Wife, Jeanne Baker; Son, Tony C. Baker; Grandchildren, Ava C., Anthony E., and Mikayla E.; Brothers, John C. and Barry Sr.; many Nieces and Nephews; and many close Friends.

Calling hours for Tony will be on December 3rd from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm at New Comer Cremation & Funerals, with a service to follow at 3:00pm. Graveside services will be held on December 7th at 12:00 pm at Pine Plains Cemetery on Henry Clay Blvd in Clay.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Tony's name may be made to Hospice of CNY.
