Anne Wili

Anne Wili, 91, passed away on Friday at James Square Nursing Home. She was born in Geneva, NY on May 13, 1921 but lived most of her life in Ogdensburg, NY. She was manager of the local Sears as well as owning the Seaway Sewing Center with her husband. Anne was very active in the Elks Lodge #772 and had the distinction of being the first female in an original all male club. She went on to hold the office of Chaplain for many years. She will be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help when ever needed.
She was predeceased by her husband Elmer in 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (John) Greer, North Syracuse, Patricia (Scott) Amo, Plattsburgh, NY, son James, 4 grandsons, 4 great grandchildren.
There are no calling hours and private burial will be in the spring in Ogdensburg at the convenience of the family.
