Anna May Paiz, 86, of Cicero, passed away October 6, 2022.
Anna was born in Syracuse, New York on August 10, 1936 to the late Ernest and Gladys Dunlavey.
Anna was the Matriarch of the family. Between her and Jerry they brought 62 lives into this world. Originally, Anna started with her LPN, later receiving her RN. She worked at many medical offices over the years. In her free time, she enjoyed camping and traveling from Newfoundland to Alaska. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her 5 siblings.
She is survived by her loving Husband of 69 years, Desiderio "Jerry" Paiz; Three Daughters, Rebecca (Kevin) Van Ness, Belinda (Patrick) McElroy, Sandra (Robert) Smith; Three Sons, Michael (Brenda) Paiz, Gerald (Joyce) Paiz, David (Amy) Paiz; 21 Grandchildren; 34 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 13th from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held Friday at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial to follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Food Bank of CNY.
