Anna C. Anderson

Anna (Nana) C. Anderson, 97, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday, surrounded by family at her home at Fahey. Born in NYC, she lived most of her life in Syracuse. She and her husband worked on battleships in Seattle, WA during WWII. She had strong faith, loved to dance, read, cook and play her harmonica. She loved her family greatly and was a "rock" for them.
She is predeceased by her husband, John Anderson and daughter, Barbara Anderson.
Anna is survived by her daughters, Patricia George and Linda Anderson; grandsons, Russell (Jen) and Greg George; granddaughters, Linnea (Rich) Matulat and Kirsten Carter; great grandsons, Aaron, Justin and Tyler; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
Services will be Thursday, 10AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the Loretto Interfaith Chapel, Cunningham Building.
