Anna M. Van Allen, 62, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday after a long illness. Anna loved her cats and humming birds. She worked in healthcare for over 20 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth Burns-Heid and Conrad Heid.
Anna is survived by 2 children, Elizabeth and Thomas Van Allen; 3 grandchildren, Thomas, Sarah and Abigail; significant other, George Brandt; 2 brothers, Michael and Richard Heid; and several cousins and a nephew.
Calling hours will be Monday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 7PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNY SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Syracuse, NY 13211.
