Anna F. D'Amico, 93 of North Syracuse, formerly of Beverly Hills, Florida and Stony Point, passed away peacefully after a long illness. She was surrounded by family when she went to be with the Lord.
Ann was born February 10, 1926 in Syracuse, New York
She married Salvatore, January 1946. She was a devoted wife. They were married 61 years until his death in 2007.
She had a creative flair for arranging Easter baskets and flowers. Her children were fortunate to have fond memories of holidays at their home. The tradition continued for many years, even as her children became adults. Ann was a great cook. Ann and her husband were successful restaurant owners for 35 years, owning D'Amico's and later Dapper Dan's. Ann remained active and blessed to live independently until the last week of her life. This was important to her. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, playing cards and bingo.
Ann will be greatly missed by her four children Joseph (Jeanne) of Texas, Anne of North Syracuse, Sam (Jan) of Clay and Angela of Eastwood. She has 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a brother, John Capozzi, and several nieces and nephews.
