Anna Besanson, 98, of Mattydale, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday. Anna was a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital for 35 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Allen and a son, George.
Anna is survived by her 3 sons, Charles (Mary) of Central Square, Arthur (Eva) of Cicero, and Robert (Theresa) of Central Square; daughter-in-law, Patricia of Pulaski; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Thursday 4-7Pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 7PM. Burial will be held in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Volunteer Fire Department.
