Ann Josephine Royle, 77, of Cicero, passed away Tuesday at Francis House after a long struggle with congestive heart failure with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her brother, Salvatore Ambriati and granddaughter, Sarah Royle Fireman.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Daniel Edward Royle and her children; Patricia Simone (Rick) of Clay, Daniel Royle (Dawn) of Elmira,Deborah Royle (Karl) of Fayetteville, Ann Marie Royle Fireman (Mark) of Michigan, Joan Royle-Cecero (Jay) of Hastings, Michael Royle of Cicero, Shaun Royle (Michelle), Florida, Ellen Szopinski (Robert), Fulton. Ann was a grandmother to 23 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several siblings; Mary Williams, Louise Coolidge, Carmella Ambriati, Delores Garafalo, Vivian O'Neil, Michael Ambriati,Anthony Ambriati, Vincent Ambriati and Albert Ambriati
Services will be Friday, 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum, Clay. Friends are invited to visit with her family on Thursday from 6-8 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 N Main St., North Syracuse.
Contributions can be made to Francis House or Hospice of CNY.
