Anita G. Ciannilli

Anita Gloria Ciannilli, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2021. She was born in New York City, on January 5, 1934 and attended Hunter College in New York City. She was a retiree working for the City of Syracuse and was a Boston Terrier breeder known as "Cia's Boston's". She was very involved with the (OKA) Onondaga Kennel Association for over 30 years. Boston Terriers were everything to her.
She leaves a daughter, Diana Gloria Nicholas-Salvo; grand-children, Christopher Thomas Salvo, his wife Fiorella Salvo, Anna Gloria Salvo, and Gina Elise Salvo-Sweeney, her husband Seamus Sweeney; her great-grandchildren, Sebastian Thomas and Isabella Sophia Salvo.
No services will be held at the funeral home. A burial for family and friends will take place on November 17, 2021 at 9:30am at Assumption Cemetery, 2401 Court Street, Syracuse NY 13208 at the family mausoleum. In lieu of flowers Anita requested donations made to the Onondaga Kennel Association.
