Angelus V. Robinson

Angelus V. Robinson, 88, of East Syracuse transitioned on June 24th in the presence of her family after a brief illness. Born in Birmingham, AL on September 19, 1933 to the late Mattie and Calvin Hightower. She married Johnnie Robinson in 1949 and together they moved to Syracuse, NY in 1950. Angelus retired from St. Joseph's Cardiovascular lab after 31 years of service. She played softball, enjoyed cooking but most of all she loved her family.

Angelus was predeceased by her son, Donald Robinson; sisters, Jessica Menifee and Gloria Hendrieth; brother, Harold "Pete" Hightower; grandson, Ronald Robinson, Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Vickey (Rodney) Robinson-Ellis, Ronald (Lisa) Robinson, Aaron (Brenda) Robinson and Jay (Tasha) Jackson; siblings, Calvin (Sandra) Hightower, Bernard (Nettie) Hightower, Marcelyn Conwell, Jerome (Barbara) Hightower and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren,great great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews; and special friends, Tim and Linda.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 30th 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a memorial service to follow at 12pm.
