Angelo Michael Tubolino, 90, of Syracuse and Canastota NY, passed away on Thursday with his loving wife by his side. He was born on September 27, 1924 in Watertown, NY, the son of the late Angelo and Anna Tubolino. He served in the US Navy during WW II on the Destroyer USS Cotten DD669 in the Pacific Theatre. He retired from Thruway Fasteners and was a member of the American Legion. He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his loving wife, Norma of 64 years, 5 children: Kathy (Marvin) Meddley, Irma (Tom) Whitham, Mario (Lisa) Tubolino, Theresa (Steve) Lostumbo, Angelo (Jaye) Tubolino, his brother, Anthony (Link) Tubolino, Solvay, NY, 17 grandchildren: Joe, Tracy, Michael, Timmy, Stacy, Jennifer, Vika, Veronika, Vaughn, Mario, Jr., Alisha, Tina, Lakechia, Morgan, Matthew, Shane & Sheena, along with 19 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Pompei 10am Tuesday. Burial will take place at White Chapel Memory Gardens.
