Angelo Manfredi

Angelo Manfredi, 85, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday. Angelo was born in San Mango D'Aquino, Calabria, Italy to the late Joseph and Angela Manfredi. Angelo was known to his family and friends as an extremely kind hearted, selfless and intelligent person. He retired from Carrier Corp. after a successful 40 year career. Angelo was heavily involved at St. Peter's Church as President of the Ushers, Eucharistic Minister, head of the Italian Association and coordinator of Bocce ball league. He also organized many events including dances, festivals and bus trips. After the closing of St. Peter's Church, Angelo became a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church. Angelo was predeceased by a daughter, Angela Bortoloni.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Enrichetta "Rita"; children, Rose (Mike) Fortunato, Maria (John) Rice and Joseph (Kimberly) Manfredi; grandchildren, Christina, Gabriella, Tyler, Angela, Isabella and Juliana; great-grandson, Noah; sister, Rose (Sam) Barbuto and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Dec. 22nd 5-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Dec. 23rd 12PM at St. Rose of Lima Church with entombment to follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
