Angelo J. Fire, 88, of North Syracuse, passed away on Friday. He worked for NY Central Rail Road, Assumption Cemetery and drove school bus for 15 years and loved the kids he was entrusted with. He was a member of Calvary Chapel. Angelo was an avid boxing fan.
He is predeceased by his brother, Louis Fire and sister, Mary Fragola.
Angelo is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Fire; a daughter Gail (Thomas) Isabell; sons, Gary (Linda) Fire, Ron (Gwen) Fire and James Fire; fourteen grand-children; numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Frances Fragola; a brother, Peter Fire Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM.
Burial will be private.
