Angeline Josephine Burke, 90, of North Syracuse, passed away August 12, 2023. Angeline was born in Syracuse, New York on March 18, 1933 to the late Albert and Asunta Cretarola.
She was an excellent cook, and loved spending time with her family most of all. She played Bunco with her friends and never said no to volunteering at St Rose where all her children attended. She was a devout church goer because of her deep Catholic faith.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul A. Burke; and her brother, Ralph Cretarola. She is survived by her sons, Steven Burke (Connie), Anthony Burke (Lisa), Robert Burke (Betsy), William Burke, James Burke, John Burke of MN and Timothy Burke; a daughter, Mary Sue (Bill) Brown of NC. She was also devoted to her 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, August 18, 10AM, at St. Rose of Lima, North Syracuse, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, 385 Watervliet-Shaker Rd., Latham, NY 12110.
