Andrew Lawton

Andrew G. Lawton, 30, of Bridgeport, and formerly of Oswego, passed away on June 15, 2015 surrounded by his family and loved ones, after enduring a 28 month battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme Stage IV Brain Cancer.

He was born in Glens Falls, NY on November 7, 1984. Andrew was raised in Canton, NY and then West Amboy, NY attending Altmar-Parish-Williamstown School District. Andrew possessed many talents. From working construction and being a mechanic, to exhibiting amazing cooking skills and many more. He utilized these talents for many jobs until he began his career at Aapex Environmental Services in 2007, then advancing to asbestosis supervisor at Action Technical Services Inc., achieving multiple certifications in the industrial, environmental, and construction fields.

Andrew was a lover of hard work, determination, and always strived to become the best at everything he had done, but above all family held most value to him. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, son, and friend.
Andrew is survived by his wife Stephanie Lawton; son Kaylob Lawton; daughters Karri and Kendra-lily Lawton; sisters Hope, Eliza, and Harmonie Lawton; brother Honnor Lawton; mother Gail Rivet; grandmother Sandra Malbone; grandfather George Malbone. Andrew was predeceased by his father Michael Lawton; stepmother Lori Lawton; brother Justiss Lawton; grandfather Ronald Lawton; grandmother Thea Lawton.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 18th from 5-8pm at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse with no services to follow. The family will soon announce a "Celebration of Life" for Andrew as he wanted friends and family to celebrate his life rather than mourn his death.
