Andrew J. DiCuffa, 19, of North Syracuse, the beloved son and brother of Valerie (Stampp) DiCuffa and J.R. Dicuffa left us unexpectedly on Wednesday. AJ graduated from CNS in 2004 where he was an avid basketball player. He always had to be #1 and did his best in every endeavor. He treasured his friends of which he had many. He was employed by Wal-Mart Super Center and Moe's of Cicero. He is predeceased by his father Aldo DiCuffa who passed away in 1995.
AJ is survived by his mother, Valerie (Stampp) DiCuffa, his brother J.R. DiCuffa, maternal grandparents, Shirley & Robert Craver of Syracuse, paternal grandmother, Maria DiCuffa of Florida, aunts, Doreen Mento of Warners, Delfina Pisa of Florida, uncles, George Stampp of Camillus, Mike Tobin of Syracuse, Richard Tobin of Boston and Angelo DiCuffa. He also leaves behind several cousins.
Services will be held on Monday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday from 2-6 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to the family.
