Andrea Orlando

Andrea (André) Orlando, 92 years old, was born in Baucina, Italy on August 20, 1931. He died peacefully on the feast of St. Andrew, November 30th, lovingly cared for at Francis House. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 58 years, Rosaria Orlando. He grew up as a farmer, worked in construction, and retired from Anheuser Busch. He was an excellent cook, tilled prolific vegetable gardens, was an all-around do-it-yourselfer, and an active member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Baldwinsville, New York.

He will be greatly missed by his son, James; his daughter, Tonette Orlando-Gilchriest; his son-in-law, Paul Gilchriest; and his sister, family and friends.

Calling hours will be on Monday, December 4 from 3 to 6 p.m. at St. Augustine's Church, Baldwinsville. The funeral will be on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Baldwinsville. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in his memory to Francis House in Syracuse.
