Andréa Ferrara, 87, of North Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pachino, Italy and immigrated to the US in 1970.
He is survived by Maria (Civello) Ferrara, his beloved wife of 58 years; daughters, Tina (Jim) Haney and Josie Ferrara; sons, Vincenzo Ferrara and John (Rosanne) Ferrara; grandchildren, Marc, Brianna, Jimmy, Britni and Brandon; brothers, Corrado (Grace) Ferrara of Liverpool, Sebastiano (Carmella) Ferrara of Pachino, Italy; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A prayer service will be Wednesday, 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 10AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Syracuse, NY.
